Board Certified Counseling
Counselling plays a crucial role in mental health and well-being. It provides a safe and confidential space for individuals to explore their feelings, thoughts, and behaviors. Counselling helps in understanding and resolving issues, managing emotions, developing coping strategies, and making positive changes in one’s life. It’s imperative that we understand that Christians/Believers can be in need of counseling as well (not just unbelievers) and it’s OK to seek it as well as a Therapist, Psychologist, Shrink etc. if needed….YOUR MENTAL HEALTH MATTERS.
I Dr. Antoinette Goodrich, am a Board-Certified Christian Peer Counselor, credentialed through the National Association of Christian Counselors. I provide confidential, faith-based peer counseling within a supportive and nonjudgmental environment, offering compassionate listening, emotional and spiritual support, prayer, encouragement, practical coping strategies, and guidance toward appropriate community or professional resources when necessary. My services are designed to help individuals process life experiences, recognize personal strengths, develop healthy coping skills, and pursue emotional and spiritual well-being. As a peer counselor, I do not diagnose or treat medical or mental health conditions, prescribe medication, or provide services that fall within the scope of licensed medical or mental health professionals. Peer counseling is intended to complement—not replace—professional clinical care when such care is needed. When an individual’s needs extend beyond the scope of peer counseling, I encourage and facilitate connection with qualified medical, mental health, or community professionals.

As a Board Certified Christian Counselor, I’m equipped and excited to offer my counseling services to anyone who desires, needs or is encouraged to seek counseling for their improvement, enhancement and development. My LOVE FOR PEOPLE and PASSION TO SEE THEM WELL was my motivation to pursue and obtain the essential tools that are necessary to assist in the healness, wholeness and betterment of men, women and families. I’m absolutely elated to extend my “Advice for your Advancement.”
*Proverbs 11:14 Where no counsel is, the people fall: But in the multitude of counsellors there is safety.
*Proverbs 19:20 Listen to advice and accept instruction, that you may gain wisdom in the future.
